Edinburgh International Film Festival 18th - 29th Jun 2008, Edinburgh The best in British and world cinema is celebrated, showing some of the latest new movies at The Edinburgh International Film Festival. You have the chance to meet some of the artists involved. Royal Highland Show 19th - 22nd Jun 2008, Edinburgh Four day event with over 4,000 livestock on show. Demonstrations in cookery, crafts and fashion, and over 1000 stands selling anything and everything. Glasgow International Jazz Festival 20th - 29th June 2008, Glasgow The Glasgow International Jazz Festival features traditional and mainstream jazz, blues and contemporary. The Hebridean Challenge 29th June - 4th July 2008, Outer Hebrides A demanding adventure race in the Outer Hebrides. Five day event sees teams competing in road and hill running, road and mountain biking, sea swimming and kayaking.
