Isle of Bute Jazz Festival

Now running for nineteen years, The Isle of Bute Jazz Festival is one of Britain's most popular jazz weekends. Programme of traditional jazz music with some of the top UK and international musicians.


Feis Rois Inbhich
3rd - 5th 2008, Ullapool, Ross & Cromarty
Splendid 3-day event, offering tuition in traditional musical instruments, Gaelic language and song, and Highland dancing for adults.


Newton Stewart Walking Festival
9th - 15th 2008, Newton Stewart, Dumfries & Galloway

Aviemore and Cairngorms Walking and Mountain Festival
10th - 17th 2008, Aviemore
The Aviemore and Cairngorms Walking and Mountain Festival gives you the chance to take part in ten guided walks through the Cairngorms. Try the mountain biking, kayaking, white water rafting, climbing, and canyoning, and finish with a ceilidh supper.


Arran Wildlife Festival
14th - 21st 2008, isle of Arran
Get close to Arran's wildlife. Golden Eagles, basking sharks, dolphins and red deer in this brilliant eight day event.


Dumfries & Galloway Arts Festival
23rd - 31st 2008, Dumfries & Galloway
A host of events, including music, dance, literary and theatre, with local and international performers.


The Edinburgh Marathon
25th May 2008, Edinburgh
Around 100,000 people will throng the capital to watch the marathon runners leave Princes Street and finish in Holyrood Park. a fun day out for everyone.


Leith Festival

Edinburgh Sevens
