Scotland Newsletter
Welcome to the Newsletter, where you can stay informed with the latest updates, what's on where, and any changes to the site. There is no subscription required for My Scotland Newsletter and I don't need your email address.

If I need to tell you about anything, you'll find it right here on this page. I'll be updating this page periodically, so please come back and have a look to see if there's anything new. I sometimes forget to put it on the Blog :-)

How you can be part of this site

There's a few ways in which you can participate and contribute to the content of this site and My Scotland Newsletter ......

  • You can Have Your Own Page just by signing the Guestbook. The short comments are viewed on one page, but if you can write about 100 words, I'll put your comment on a page all by itself.

  • Share Your Scottish Recipes. If you have any recipes, send them in for publication on the site. It doesn't matter if a recipe for your favourite dish is already there, if your recipe is different, send it in.

  • You can send in funny Scottish stories for publication on the
My Scotland page. Stories, jokes, funny emails or anything at all relating to Scottish humour, as long as they're not offensive.

  • You can send in old Scottish sayings you may have heard from your grandparents, or any of the weird and wonderful newer sayings, or even Scottish slang words for publication on the Your Sayings page.

Your Moan

This is the 'my moan' section on My Scotland Newsletter, exclusively for you, the visitor, to vent your pet whinge. Hopefully it will stop you from pulling your hair out, just send it in and let off some steam. Sometimes it does you good to have a right old moan. I should know I've done my fair share of moaning in the past, so now it's over to you.

My "star moan" was sent in by Robert McBride of Glenrothes, Scotland.

Do you have something to moan about? What irritates or really annoys you? Send Me Your Moan for publication on My Scotland Newsletter.

I'm not really that much of a grump ... Honest! In fact, there are so many Things I Love About Scotland, I even wrote a wee page on the subject.

Until the next My Scotland Newsletter update ..... John
