I'm passionate about Scotland and that's why I started thinking about building this website.
Many people are passionate about something and would like to build
their own site, but really don't know how or where to get started.
The little guy you see here running from the computer was me not so long ago. If only I'd known how simple all this stuff could be, I'd have rolled my sleeves up and got started a whole lot sooner than I did.
When the idea came to me to build this website, I did the obvious thing :
I sat at my computer and started searching the web for information.
About an hour later I was ready for pulling my hair out!
I was reading all this stuff about web templates, uploading graphics, HTML, keywords, optimisation, submitting your site to search engines, generating traffic etc. I knew nothing about any of these things.
So I put everything on hold!
Almost a year passed, and I came across something quite by accident. I don't even remember where I saw it, but it was related to building your own website. So of course I was interested, and continued reading.
Now, this seemed to be the answer, but still I took no action. You see, the price put me off, and I have a laugh now when I think about that.
The start of my incredible journey ......
We can spend most of our life dreaming, and not doing. I remembered the words of someone famous, I don't remember who it was but I do remember the quote :
"All of the shots you DON'T take are 100% guaranteed to miss".
So, About three months later I finally took the plunge and became part of something that I have come to love, and I began building this website.
And I'm not alone, housewives, plumbers, car mechanics and gardeners, ordinary people from all walks of life are building their own successful websites with Site Build It. Many have quit their job to live the life they want, but it takes a lot of work because it's not a get rich quick scheme.

New ideas will come to you as you go along. You will surprise yourself. You will experience a sense of achievement, as I have, building this website.
