There are literally hundreds of old Scottish sayings, and I certainly do not know them all. My page on the subject is extremely popular, but I have really just scratched the surface.
This is where you can help, by sending your Scottish sayings for inclusion on the page. Can you think of any unusual sayings that were used by your parents or grandparents? I'm sure you can, and I would appreciate you taking the time to send them to me.
